Recent Activity : Special ‘Mom’ents at Splendido Taal
At Splendido Taal Golf & Country Club’s Ladera Golfer’s Lounge, special mom’ents are made of sugar, all spice and everything yummy for mommy at the Mother’s Day lunch buffet on May 11, 2008.
Fried wanton of stir-fried cashew chicken with basil and chilis and mini skewers of satay aim to please. Cream of chicken and celery and salads of mixed greens, cold cuts and Shrimp Waldorf are perfect with honey-glazed ham. That’s just for starters!
For the main course, feast on roast chicken Galantine with white butter sauce; mini meatballs Lasagna; braised pork loin stuffed with prunes; and paupiette of Mahi-mahi pepperonata.
One sweet day for moms deserves just desserts: fresh fruits, Pavlova with orange and petit fours of Brasilia , mocha profiteroles and carrot cake!
It’s all good and made even better with the whole family sharing the singular joy of dining at Ladera, with a view of Taal and the golfing greens that makes most everyone count their blessings – best of all having a mom to thank and share beautiful moments with.
