Splendido Taal Golf & Country Club go western for Father’s Day with the “Howdy Daddy” hoe down on June 15, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ladera Golfer’s Lounge and Veranda.  It’s a fun filled day for cowboy dads and kids with all the sizzlin’, grillin’ and super games.

First off, families can hear mass at La Esquina fine dining at 10 a.m. Then dig in to a barbecue of epic-urean proportions by grill-happy Chef Tristan Bayani.  Beef tenderloin, rib eye, lamb and pork chops, chicken, seafood and pork kebabs, rellenong tilapia and bangus are complemented by all manner of sauces - satay, mushroom gravy, hot and spicy barbecue, béarnaise and lemon butter.  Mashed potatoes, macaroni salad, coleslaw, cream of mushroom soup and the Splendido Salad Bar, tacos, nachos, corn on the cob and desserts rounds up the sumptuous meal.  Definitely not for the faint of heart, it’s big eats all the way!

Dads and kids can play at being cowboys sporting free ranch tattoos, hats, bandanas, Sheriff’s badge, toy water guns, and gold nuggets.  Also win cool prizes at pin the donkey, bring me and “Who’s Your Daddy!”  So head out to Splendido Taal’s “Howdy Daddy” for Father’s Day, y’all!
